My love for animals and their welfare is what brought me to veterinary nursing over 20 years ago. I have a range of experience in general practice, emergency and specialist hospitals. My most favourite procedure to be involved in is caesareans, those puppy cuddles after are the best! I have a young son & 3 cats at home, Sparkles, Geoffrey & Henry. When not working, I love spending time with family & friends & taking my son to new and exciting places.
I have always loved animals from a young age and could always be found with an animal near me. I have raised countless birds from babies through my work with Fauna rehabilitation (now native animal rescue). I have a certificate IV in Veterinary nursing and Diploma in Veterinary nursing (Emergency and critical care)
I may be seen on reception, nursing or assisting the vet.
I am also the general manager and co-owner of the practice.
When I am not working I am busy with my 5 year old twin boys, and our dog Chase, the Whippet.
My name is Lucy and I was originally born in Norway before moving to Perth. I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by dogs whilst growing up which lead me to pursue a career with animals. I am especially interested in expanding my knowledge on dog behaviour.
I love all animals however, dogs hold a special place in my heart (especially my Aussie Blu).
I lived in Canada for a couple years were I was a professional dog walker in summer and ski/snowboarded through winter. Nowadays, my hobbies include netball, reading and of course going to the beach with my dog Blu.
I have always loved animals and so decided that my goal would be to become a vet nurse, I have almost completed a certificate in animal care and intend to further my studies into veterinary nursing.
I have always had a family dog and couldn’t imagine life without one, we have also got chickens and a fish pond with our a beautiful koi fish.
I enjoy volunteering at Native Animal Rescue in Malaga and dancing at my dance studio or just around the house.
Hi, I'm Steph
I have always been surrounded by pets growing up and this started my dream to work with animals. I am working towards completing my vet nursing qualification and loving every minute of it. After working with a range of different animals throughout my studies, your cats and dogs will always be my favourite!
